DHI IN-HOUSE EDUCATION SYSTEM GUIDELINES AND MATERIALS

The DHI In-House Education System now enables companies to provide DHI’s renowned education sessions conveniently to their employees. Time away from home and out of the office will be reduced, which translates into even greater cost savings for your company.

Companies can now purchase the instructor and student materials for many DHI training classes. The official end-of-class exam is included and students must pass the exam in order to receive credit toward a diploma or professional certification qualifications. Students who pass will receive the same full credit as students who attend DHI’s national class sessions.

Member Companies will be charged $115 (Non-Member Company price is $135) per student/per day of training, plus the actual cost of shipping, to cover the costs for class materials and exam processing.

STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS FOR DELIVERING A SUCCESSFUL IN-HOUSE TRAINING PROGAM

STEP 1:  AT LEAST six weeks prior to date(s) of school

Review guidelines for planning a successful session

Guidelines for Planning Class(es)
Guildeines for Instructor Selection
Guidelines for Developing a Registration System
Guidelines for Marketing Your Class(es)

Select courses to be offered from the Education Course Catalog (pdf)

Determine a host location for the school (i.e., hotel, office)

Fax an Application Form (Member) or Application Form (Non-Member) to Carol Granger at: (703) 222-2410

STEP 2:  Three to five weeks prior to date(s) of school

Determine pricing
Determine registration process — Sample Registration Form (Word doc)
Market target audience — Sample Marketing Piece (Word doc)
Submit announcement for inclusion on chapter web page (E-mail: webmaster@dhi.org)

STEP 3:  Immediately following the school

Return student exams & printed class roster to DHI for grading and processing.
Return any un-used materials.
