Robert Maas is Director of Key Accounts and Mechanical OEM for Allegion. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Finance from Penn State University and Behrend College, as well as a master’s of business administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
He started in the industry in 1982 with Fenestra Corporation, learning the door (steel, wood and FRP) and hollow metal frame business from every aspect, starting with estimating, project management, hardware, door and frame schedules and customer service. In 1998, he was offered the position of the Northeast Regional Manager for Fenestra, launching his sales career.
He later worked for Steelcraft, which was purchased by Ingersoll Rand in 1996. He has continued in a sales role with the company for the past 22 years, currently as Director of Key Accounts (large multi-branch contract hardware distributors that span between multiple sales territories) and Mechanical OEM accounts (aluminum storefront manufacturers.)
Robert served as DHI President in 2015-16.
