Volunteer with DHI
Whether your skills are technical and you enjoy teaching and mentoring others, or if you’re more of a strategic and business thinker and enjoy serving on committees and boards, DHI has many opportunities throughout the year to volunteer. Commitments range from a few conference calls, to local event support, to one or more meetings requiring travel to headquarters in Washington, DC. Our volunteers share great stories about how much they have gained both personally and professional giving back to the industry and networking with their peers.
We are interested in providing rewarding and enjoying experiences for our volunteers at every level, while growing our volunteer network and engaging more of our members. We hope you will consider sharing your time and talents with DHI and your fellow members.
Gain Industry Recognition
Many individuals give of themselves tirelessly to our organization and industry, so it is important that they be duly recognized and honored, and more importantly, thanked for their efforts. Visit our
listing of DHI Awards recipients.
Local Volunteering Opportunities
If you would like to volunteer as a local leader, review our list of chapters to connect with your local chapter leaders. Let them know you’d like to get engaged. If you’d like to learn more from our staff about that, feel free to contact us at membership@dhi.org
