Online Proctoring allows you to take your exam from the comfort of your own home or location of your choosing on your own computer while being monitored live by an off-site proctor through your webcam.

How It Works
- Schedule Your Exam in Prolydian – Once approved to test, log in to your Prolydian account and select your date/time for the remote exam.
- Check Your Email – Prolydian will send you exam-day instructions and technology requirements.
- Exam Day – At your scheduled time, launch your exam from Prolydian. You’ll be connected to a MonitorEDU proctor, who will guide you through the check-in process and monitor you via two cameras for the duration of the exam.
Technical Requirements to Take the Exam via Online Proctoring
Set Up Your Mobile
- Download the Google Meet application to your phone Google Play (Android), App Store (Apple)
- Open the Google Meet application
- Click "New Meeting"
- Click "Create Link" to start an instant meeting
- Make sure that you can see yourself in your camera. If you can, you're set to move on to the next instructions.
Set Up Your Webcam
- Using your laptop device, in Google Chrome, open a new browser page
- Go to monitoredu.live/practice
- Once on the page, click "submit" to launch the video page, then click "Start video Chat"
- Make sure you can see yourself in your camera. If you can, you can move on to the next steps. If not, you may need to check your system settings to allow use of your webcam.
Test Your Internet
- To test your internet connection, go to speedtest.net
- Ensure that your internet speed is at a minimum 2MBPS, with 10Mbps preferred
